SCSPL is Company which is founded on the basis that the IT role or the Role of CIO is so varied in a company that it is very difficult to find resources with such knowledge and secondly it is difficult to retain resources of such knowledge for a longer length of time. The reason could be monotony or may be the pay packets with passage of time in comparison to the operational team.
Secondly we at Schlau realize that the role of CIO is not a regular operational role in any company and the involvement for a CIO which is generally a high value resource is sinusoidal. At times of implementation and projects the involvement is high and at other times it is very less. The involvement is also mental and therefore movement is not observed in routine activities.
We also realize that any CIO is not expected or should not be expected to be a hands-on officer and because of the responsibility generally will require a team to assist.
We also understand that off the many roles of CIO if the strategy, Planning and solution part is removed the rest of the activities can be performed with medium skilled resources and who can have a growth path in a manufacturing or service industry.
We also understand the quality of a CIO comes out of industry experience, knowledge about business processes and cross functional processes across industry types, knowledge about the accounting impact of every action, data preparation, data analysis, MIS, hardware, Security and compliances.
We understand that to have a single resource with such skill sets is rare. So we have able to create a team which have resources with IT back ground with business experience of over 20 Years, We have CA with more than 10 years of industry experience we have IT project manager with hands on experience in managing green field projects and operations for more than 15 years. Combining all these resources we try to bring CIO as a service and develop the existing IT teams of our patrons with subtle changes over a period of time to handle. Since we provide CIO as service across different industry we are able to stay updated with different practices and controls and able to pass that on to our patrons or partners (we don’t want to use Client).
